As some of you folk know I have the new space ready, and bench built for my empire to take shape Rolling Eyes

The Problem to date is to have the main steam line in place , but not allow it to take over the L.O.

This was starting to happen, as one thinks of staging yards round house and service area whistle

I found myself going to far and losing the traction area.

So its time to rethink and to keep the main line as a feature passing through the traction scene.

As I build this, and start street tracks and such I will be posting here.

Chris, jolly good mate, your traction work is so admirable, it would be a shame to see it reduced. I think it's best to keep the steam line to a loop and a few sidings and keep all the associated maintenace stuff off layout. Then you have an uncluttered traction layout that you can run steam or even a diesel on. Maybe have some of hte siding interchange with the traction stuff to deliver wee drams and such goodies to the LPB in the village Smile

My thoughts to the dram er Wink

I will have two main lines one will be electric so the passing and interchange should be neato Wink

Then the rest will be for interurban work.

Did a lot of work and planning today.
Even cut out the start of a river.

Got the main station area sorted too. dusty

For overhead? That would be fantastical! I'm still plannin' to include an electric railway in my world.

Talk about solid foundation...you could have a brawl on that thing and not derail a car. As fer the steamer, all she needs is a place to get a drink and she'll be on her way...that diesel thingie...cough, wheez...don't need nuffin. Wink

It looks strong but it stands on 8 , 4 - 2 pine legs.

Did a lot today, will post pics in the week when I get the town platform in place.

Jon I will get a how to ready soon re pole making.

Hi Fred this is costing me a lot in new track, but it will be worth it. Wink
