Next I spread the caulk out with a putty knife, pressing just hard enough to spread it to about the width of the ties.

The track is simply pressed down and, suprizingly, it stays put. If it lifts up or wants to go off the desired position, a few pins may be in order.

On very short sections of track, I just lifted the track off the foam a little and snuck some caulk in underneath.

Jon
A little info and some ideas.
For some rolling stock , I think they are still available,
www.miniaturesbyeric.c...tmidx6.htm
Look under HOn30

For help on the Plymouth
www.bnfhoby.com/
look under links and tours at the bottom
Al Has info on repairs of the plymouth.
While you are there look in the HOn30 section

One other word of caution, make sure there is extra space between the tracks. Its easy to space them as N Gauge only to find out the HO Gauge Station will not fit. I learned this the hard way.

Thanks Dave! salute I knew about B&F but not the 2nd link. I've got a gearset on order for the plymouth.
