I got all the real track down except for in the round house. I have to finish the maintenance pit before I can glue that track in and pour cement. The pit is drawn in under the track with it's ties removed, by Fred's engine house. By real track, I mean track trains can run on. There will also be some dummy tracks going into the cane fields.

A little more from last night...

I've cut the ties off, drawn the plan on the foam, and cut the hole for the pit. I've cut all the way through the 2" foam, but the pit will be about 1/2" deep. It will look just like the last pic in this post gap gap gap

The prototype is innerstin, not only because it has a cross channel, but because the cross channel is a railroad itself. The view is lovely.
