I tore down one of my old layouts the other day. It had been sitting unused for a couple of years and had gotten run down. Most of the businesses had shut down or moved, and rail traffic had dried up. Even worse, developers were trying to get their greedy hands on the valuable real estate.
Sad

But, rather than see this once proud line become another "rail-trail" or "greenway," an 11" x 42" section was preserved was saved for use as a tourist line. So, with some scenic restoration, the "Mullet Bay Fun Train" will be ready for the upcoming season. Very Happy

Great idea, John! Idea wtg

Are you going to incorporate it into another layout?

I've been thinking about chopping up my old layout & making dioramas out of it...???

Very Happy Thanks Guyz! I'm not planning on incorporating it into another layout, but you never know. For now, its a place to work on my techniques while waiting on inspiration for the next one.
