Thanks guyz.
I reread the How to, one alteration the 1/8th brass is not tube but rather solid brass.
The best place to buy this item is a metal work shop, The hobby store can only get this in hard brass now  too hard to drill and turn the thread.
Make sure you buy soft exact 1/8th brass rods they come in 10 foot lenghts and are far cheaper buying in bulk .
btw each pole should be 6inches or less depending on how long before you hit bottom on your L/O

For those not having a local metal supply, check Lowes, Menards, Hobbytown or your LHS. In my lucky case, all are in driving distance and all carry small metal stock. If you need to mail order it, here is a list of supplier links:

I used to get 1/8" unfluxed brazing rod in 3' lengths at the local auto parts store.
