Hey Chris,

The layout is looking nice. I remember following your progress over on The Gauge, however don't see you posting much over there lately. Glad to see you've managed to keep up the good work.

Shane

Thanks Shane,

It has been a while since I posted much on the gauge, I found the forum got very big very fast and after Robin passed away the gauge some how seemed different.
When Jon and Fred started 2guyz I came over and liked it here.
I am not taking anything away from the gauge I was there for many years and had loads of fun and met great people there.

I left a link on my sig so folks new I was here, and double posting stuff takes to much out of you.

But Hey glad you joined and I do look forward to your post`s C P rules!!!

(That`s because my son works there LOL) Question

Hi guyzzzz.

I have been busy honest, and having a smashing summer as a retired chap.

Done a lot of thinking about the section of the layout that has been left alone for so long, and come to a decision as to the next area to be finished.
I had Gareth over aka romcat and bounced the idea off him and I think he liked what I had planned.

That is to run a single track on the side of the road into the high town .
This will meet the country run and give me two avenues of operation and photo ability.
Also it is what happened in those traction days.

I have reposted the area in question and have started work on it already.
more as we progress.

Looking fantastic Chris, now I know why we retire. Question
That is one imposing building you have erected.
It is a pleasure to follow your thread, and I look on in awe at the photos and the work you produce, Its magic man. Razz

What I'm hoping is Chris will let me set-up an add-on yard, that can be attached for operating sessions. It can be left propped against a wall or even I could briing it along and hook it into a spur.

The trick will will be where to hook it up, though I have an idea.

We'll see what Capt. Sparky says!?

After giving this matter a lot of thought Razz Wink
I will have a small classification yard, the area will be of the track at the side of the engine shed and running at an angel to the outside wall underneath the vhs shelving romcat knows the area. It will be permanent I will supply the materials and romcat can build it to my specs, and even put in the scenery.

Cost him a few Newcasle Browns though Laughing Laughing
