Thanks guyz.

As I was leaving the show I bumped the coaling tower against a door facing and busted it. It's repairable, but I decided it would get broken again because it's tall and fragile. Since most later logging lokomotives ran oil, I decided to replace it with a tank and move the water tower over there with it and the sanding house. I used an old 3 dome tank for bunker oil, diesel, and gas. I need to build a hose house yet.

I also added an oil tank to my porter tender.

I am also converting to sergents couplers. I am liking them, all but the price, and some of my stock will be equipped with the cheap non working dummies for now. I also found that the "kits" are a bit of a pain to assemble until you learn how. The first one took about as long as the last 4. Smile

They look nice.

Last, some guyz around town.

Neat shots, Fred... and moving to "oil" makes sense. Don't those two guys in the sombarrio's work at the Guano Mine (they look familiar...)?

I built a socket andpin for the signal tower so it can be removed for travel. It's a piece of brass tube and music wire.

I also built some rooster bars for my disconnects.

I also scored a Precision Scale Goose off of ebay. It needs a paint job to fit the pike, It runs sweet and smooth.

Most of the damage occurs at the doorways Lynn.

I bashed a hose/pump building out of some leftover parts from kits. I also got the goose painted and a decoder in her, which plugged right in.

I also Frankestiened some plactic men for this microscene.

Getting ready for the show in Joplin Nov 28th. Here's a couple quickies.
Steam isn't limited to locomotives and donkies on the hole. We now have a steam wagon.
