News > > The Sceniced and Ridiculously Small Railroad
I the last couple of weeks I have found a couple of the largest layouts in the world. (so they claim) Today, I have found for your amusement the worlds smallest working train layout. Here's an excerpt from the article.
In N Scale, the layout measures four by eight feet. And... it works. The train travels around the layout in either direction. It passes through a tunnel, through a bridge, past an illuminated passenger station, water tower, factory, and two houses. Plus trees, telephone poles and cars. Not to mention a waterfall and a river.

This may be one of the crudest looking layouts you've ever laid eyes on, but before you pass such harsh judgment on it, take a guess at how big it is. You probably would not think that it's all of about a half-inch across the front. I nicknamed it the Sceniced and Ridiculously Small Railroad (in homage to Rick Spano's Sceniced and Undecided).
White River and Northern
Of course there is a lot more to see on this site, after you read about this layout scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "home" button and visit his other layouts. Don't forget to view the videos of this super tiny layout in action!
Also don't forget to check out his Animation pages, this guy is awesome! We can all learn tons from this guy! He is most definitely a master crafter!
See you next week!

Kinda takes away the "I don't have room for a layout" excuse, eh? That is so incredible!
Scroll to the bottom of the page and see that they mentioned that they made site of the week and linked us. How cool is that!?!?
Thank You White River and Northern! You rock!
